Hotel La Venta Inn Villahermosa, Villahermosa

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It’s definitely more geared towards business travelers, but it turned out to be a comfortable stay. The beds were plush, the breakfast was solid, and it’s right across from La Venta Park, which is a huge plus. That said, it’s located on a busy road and lacks any real charm, plus, I found it annoying that they only provide one small bottle of water per room.

I found this hotel to be a great value for the price, especially since breakfast and taxes were included. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. However, the lack of soundproofing meant I could hear a lot of noise from the surrounding rooms, which detracted from the overall experience. The staff was polite, but I did have an unpleasant encounter with the front desk that left a bad impression.
